Connected in Courage: Veterans & Family Coffee Meet

Each session begins with introductions and an opportunity for veterans to share how they are feeling and any specific challenges they are facing.

Coping Strategies: Discuss and share strategies for coping with stress, anxiety, and other challenges common among veterans.

Connecting with Resources: Provide information about local resources and support services available to veterans, such as counseling services, job placement programs, and community organizations.

Building Relationships: Encourage veterans to connect with each other outside of the group and build a support network.

Learn About Larry: Larry is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (Intern). Having served eight years in the United States Marine Corps., this instilled in him a strong sense of discipline and a deep understanding of teamwork, leadership, and human resilience. He aims to assist veterans and their families in achieving their personal and family goals, particularly those dealing with PTSD and its impact on their relationships and social lives. He also understands the joys and challenges of family life, which significantly inform his views on mental wellness. Larry emphasizes the importance of solid support systems and the influence of family dynamics on individual health.
